I wanted to show you how to use an LLM to find competitive information on your top competitors. As a case study, I used the company EnerSys as my example, where I wanted to find out how to outflank my competitors, and how I can use an LLM. Here's what I did: Step 1: I asked Perpexity who EnerSys' top 3 competitors? Step 2: I then went to PR Newswire and searched for the latest Press Releases of these top 3 competitors. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-relea... Step 3: Download the press releases. I just did a FILE then Pring command and selected .pdf, which I then downloaded to my computer. Step 4: Open up Perplexity.ai and upload the 3 press releases. Step 5: I entered the following prompt: I am the VP of Sales for Enersys; the global leader in batteries, chargers, and accessories for motive, reserve, aerospace, and defense applications. Industrial batteries. Analyze the attached press releases from 3 major battery competitors ( Exide Technologies, Trojan Battery Company, and C&D Technologies). Generate comparative SWOT analyses highlighting technological innovations, supply chain vulnerabilities, and emerging market strategies. Identify potential partnership opportunities between these companies."
